We have added some vintage John Reich Journals incl. Vol.1 No. 1, a custom-made holder for Liberty Seated Half Dimes, and some Dansco albums.  We also have Bill Bugert's new book on San Francisco Mint Seated Halves.  We carry certain books that relate to the coins we specialize in, and we also have clients who are searching to find certain books.  All books are shipped separately via USPS media mail and are packed in boxes with bubble wrap for protection.  If you want your book more quickly, we can ship via priority mail for an additional $10 in addition to our normal postage charge.

NEW BOOK NOW IN STOCK!

A Register of Liberty Seated Half Dollar Varieties, Volume I, San Francisco Branch Mint, by Bill Bugert, with plastic comb binding.  Mr. Bugert is one of the authors of The Complete Guide to Liberty Seated Half Dollars, shown below.  Since that book was published in 1993, people have been looking for an update.  Mr. Bugert has decided to create a series of books covering all known die varieties of Liberty Seated Halves.  I believe that this First Edition, 250 copies, May 2009, might sell out.  It's available either with plastic comb binding (as shown) or 3-hole punched ready for YOUR binder. I've shown a sample page below.  We have sold over 25 of these books.

NEW EDITION OF BOOK!

The Ultimate Guide to Attributing Bust Half Dollars, by Glenn R. Peterson, M. D., hardbound.  3rd edition, new printing.  When Dr. Peterson was learning the Bust half dollars, he asked some veteran collectors and dealers about their attribution methods.  He was told to develop his own system.  This book documents Glenn's "system" and avoids the frustration when using one of the other guides to attribute, for example, an 1827 half (49 varieties!)  It also includes an updated price table for each year's varieties in the various grades.  List price is $125, get it here at a significant discount!   NOW IN STOCK!

The Authoritative Reference on Lincoln Cents, by John Wexler and Kevin Flynn, First Edition (1996), NOT the new Second Edition.   The Second Edition was recently released, and in my opinion based on a review of both editions, there is not much new in the second edition.  In any case, this book is in near-new condition, and I will sell it for less than half of the price of the 2nd edition.  At this low price, there will be no returns allowed on this book.              $20

Early American Coppers Anthology, a compilation of eleven published works by famous authors such as S. S. Crosby, George Clapp, H. R. Newcomb, Ebenezer Gilbert, etc.  The table of contents is shown at left.  The narrative is as written by the original author, but in my opinion the plates are not as nice as they could be.  In near-new condition and offered at a huge discount vs. what you would pay for the original works.   At this low price, there will be no returns allowed on this book.       $15
