he would like to see a higher grade example before he considers it a
DS-8. Most of the Bust Quarter collectors who have examined
the coin consider it to be DS-8, presently unlisted.

Quarter B-2 R-5, PCGS VG-8. The coin is actually a Fine-15,

A very, very rare variety usually found in Good or worse and/or with
significant problems. This coin is rare by itself but even
rarer in a PCGS holder. Since 2001 Heritage has sold eleven of
these, 2 of which were PCGS (one AG) and 2 NGC (both Unc.) A
rare opportunity to obtain a very rare coin. Greysheet bid is
$2,250 in VG and $3,350 in Fine; I will pay way, way, way, and way
more than those numbers for any problem-free 1822 B-2's offered. |
